Tamagotchi Update #1: Paradise

This week was pretty eventful. I received my first Tamagotchi since Gen 1 and I just got my Tama to evolve into Pochitchi. He actually evolved when I just walked downstairs to make some food. I was definitely surprised by the sudden beeps in my pocket.

I was a bit surprised seeing as I expected to get Meowtchi but I don't think I fed it enough meat and I could've made a care mistake without knowing. This is all according to the wiki's guide.

I also found out that Tamagotchi will be partnering with Uniqlo to drop a new collection but to also release the original Tamagotchi with a special shell.

I personally don't think I'll buy anything, though I want to, because I already prioritized my Jade Forest pre-order and talk about expensive...

All pre-orders ran out everywhere else by the time I decided to even get into this new gen of Tamagotchis and I found it available on Amazon Japan. It wouldn't have cost so much if it wasn't for shipping.

Am I crazy for still getting it? Absolutely but it was worth it. I want to breed my Tamas (I know there's an in-game breeding system but I want to use my own tamas) and I really love how cute the exclusive Tamas are on the Jade version. So after this, and my purchases of devil and angelgotch I think buying anything else is off the table for now.

Did I mention I bought angel and devilgotch? Yeah, I'm excited to say it again. I always wanted them growing up so I decided to get them from eBay. Specifically, the Japanese versions because I hate the censorship in the American versions. I understand why they did it, Tamagotchi is originally for kids after all, but as an adult I can more than handle a dead Tamagotchi. I also think the concept is cooler than the Tama just leaving in a spaceship.
